CSS Tactical involved in two successful arrests 48 hours apart

CSS Tactical are proud to yet again announce more success brought on by their brave and relentless team. On Saturday morning June 25, 2011, and again on Monday, saw officers from Atholl and Craighall Park, as well as their very hands-on Operations top level management, bring to justice four individual suspects who were involved in separate incidents within these CSS Tactical patrolled suburbs.

The first of these incidents occurred on Saturday morning when one of the CSS guards posted along Heather Road in Atholl radioed into the control room when he noticed what he thought were intruders in one of the properties. After a quick response from the area officers, they could not find the suspects within that particular property, but then CSS was alerted by a client in a neighbouring property who themselves saw the intruders.

It was then that they discovered a robbery had just occurred in the original premises. The officers searched high and low but to no avail. Intent on bringing the criminals to justice, the officers were as persistent as ever, which even led to their Ops Manager and former military man, Grant Moulder, arriving with a sniffer dog and accompanied by members of Bramley SAPS.

After a constant search throughout the river area and hours having passed by, eventually one of the suspects was caught hiding in a tucked away spot along the riverbed. To say he was caught redhanded is an understatement as once he was located, officers and SAPS members found two laptops, four cellphones and an Ipod among other items in his possession. He was immediately arrested and is being detained at Bramley Police Station.

The second of these successes occurred during the course of Monday early afternoon. Again a CSS guard who was stationed at a nearby site was notified by a passer-by of the sounds of screaming from a nearby property along Hamilton Avenue, Craighall Park. The guard immediately pressed his panic button and informed officers of a potential crime taking place.

Upon arrival at the house in question, the officers arrived whilst house robbers were still in the act of their crime. They had tied up the staffmember and three children whilst in the process of cleaning out the house of all its valuables. The responding officers instantaneously arrested two of the five suspects, whilst the remaining fleeing suspects escaped from the property driving a silver Land Cruiser with the stolen goods.

Later in the day post an interrogation process conducted, the apprehended suspects gave up information leading to the arrest of a third member of this gang at his home in Alexandra, and whilst the hunt is on for the remaining two, fear has certainly been struck deep in the hearts of any would-be criminals having witnessed how confidently a CSS Tactical officer executes a plan of action in ridding the suburbs of this vermin.

These two most recent success stories yet again prove testament to the unwavering relentlessness and heroics members of the CSS Tactical team represent!
