Bonang Matheba ruffles feathers at the Feather Awards with a win

Bonang Matheba is a glam queen with a broad portfolio of achievements under her belt. Style and trends are her two favourite commodities. Matheba has won the Most Stylish Female Award at the Feather Awards that took place on November 8, 2011 at The Venue in Melrose Arch.

The award pays homage to style icons who consistently keep up with trends, while not losing their fashion and style sense in the process. Nkhensani Nkosi of the Stoned Cherrie fame is one of a few winners who have won this award. “Fashion and style is something that I have always been passionate about, so I am truly honoured to be recognised for this award,” said Bonang.

Nominees are chosen from different industries like Sports, Entertainment, Business as well as Media. Matheba was competing against fellow media personalities such as Dineo Ranaka and Noni Gasa. With such an eclectic style from boho to retro, glamorous and chic, Matheba’s style is continuously evolving, whilst never loosing that famous signature girl B* statement. And with this feather in her stylish cap, who knows what she will achieve next.
